Your path from GLS courses to ÖSD certificate

Each student follows a clear path. After completing a level (A1–B2), you take an internal GLS exam with your teacher.

Once your level is validated, GLS registers your name for the corresponding official ÖSD exam.

What you must master before the ÖSD exam

A1 – Listening Comprehension

You show you can understand simple conversations, announcements and everyday situations.

A1 – Grammar

This part checks your mastery of articles, sentence structure and basic forms.

A1 – Reading Comprehension

You read short texts and find key information, useful for simple messages and emails.

A1 – Written Expression

You respond to a short message or everyday situation, proof of basic written communication.

After passing your level exam

From GLS test → ÖSD Certificate

Once your internal exam is validated, we guide you toward the official ÖSD exam.

The final ÖSD certificate is recognized for studies, work, Ausbildung or visa applications.
